OUR FOCUS:

CRITICAL SUSTAINABILITY TECHNOLOGIES

Ecomerit’s critical sustainability technologies produce fresh water through desalination and removal of atmospheric carbon dioxide.

WATER SCARCITY

By 2030, the global water demand will outstrip supply by 40%. As the global temperature rises, precipitation patterns have become more erratic with the entire regions experiencing aridification, signifying increasingly dry climate conditions. Retreating glacier and depleting water basins are leaving millions short of water.

ARIDIFICATION – The heating of the earth is drying out regions and altering precipitation patterns.

ATMOSPHERIC CO2 BURDEN

Curtailing carbon emissions, ramping-up wind, solar, and energy efficiency is no longer enough.

Atmospheric carbon dioxide removal is now imperative (IPCC April 2022).
